Podcasting Primer for UMA Members
Never done a podcast? Learn the basics of podcasting to help you get your first podcast off the ground!
This two-part hands-on workshop will cover planning for a podcast, recording and using the podcast suite at UMA, audio editing and the basics of distribution. Participants will have the experience of recording a short podcast and uploading it to a real podcast platform. This action-based approach will give participants a taste of what podcasting involves.
- Session 1: Monday October 24, 6- 7:30pm. Planning and script for first episode.
- Session 2: Wednesday, October 26, 6 – 7:30pm. Recording, editing, and publicizing podcast.
Must be a member to participate. Become a member!
This two-part hands-on workshop is for individuals who have never done a podcast but wish to learn the basics about how to do a podcast.
Participants are asked to commit to both sessions and will receive a certificate of completion, qualifying them to reserve podcast equipment and a surprise gift at the end of the second session.
