Any member of the MATV/UMA community are invited to the Annual Membership Meeting (online via Zoom) on Wednesday, October 7, from 7:00 – 8:00 PM. Though we originally intended to stream this on Youtube, we have decided it is important to see those who attend and offer a feel of community. For this reason, we ask that all who wish to attend, register by zoom.

This Annual Membership Meeting is mandated by our bylaws and always involves an election for one of three membership seats on the MATV/UMA Board of Directors. Typically, we host it as a celebratory event with food, an awards ceremony, and a multimedia presentation. This year, due to Covid, we are scaling back the event and hosting it virtually. The meeting will be an opportunity to meet the Board of Directors and current staff, hear an update on our activities over the past year and during this pandemic, and watch a video created for this event. and announce the winner of the election, which is being held by email ballot.

A more elaborate celebration is being planned for January – (it will also be a virtual event due to Covid). We will be celebrating our new identity as UMA – Urban Media Arts.
