CANCELLED – Focus on Nature Walk: Pine Banks

DUE TO PREDICTED BAD WEATHER, THIS WALK WILL BE CANCELLED.

The third of several free guided “Focus on Nature” walks in the woods, by the river, or in other pockets of nature in or bordering Malden. Bring your camera or phone. Free and open to all.

This particular walk will be to Pine Banks, a well-known recreation area and trails that Malden shares with Melrose. This park has some history and trails that connect to adjacent cemetary and woods.

We will walk the trails and discuss some of this history.

Note: April 15, there will be a Malden Green Fair at Pine Banks, so if you are not familiar with this park, this will give you some idea of where it is, where to park etc.
