Candidates for Member Board Seat – It’s a Run off Between Two Excellent Candidates!

UPDATE: Urban Media Arts (UMA) is excited to announce that several representatives from our membership are seeking to fill an open Member seat . The race for the final seat on our Board of Directors is neck-and-neck, and it’s all down to you!  We’re headed for a runoff election between Johathan Bekemeier and Ted Lewis. This is your chance to shape the future of our organization. Both candidates bring unique strengths and perspectives that will be crucial as we navigate the next chapter.Make your voice heard and vote for the candidate who best aligns with your vision for our future.

Voting members will receive an email on January 3rd with a secure link to the ballot and voting will end on January 8th.  The Winner will be announced on January 9th.

I have lived in Malden for over 20 years and have worked in television, film, and advertising for over 30 years. I consider myself incredibly fortunate, in those 20+ years, to have seen Malden grow into an exciting, vibrant, and diverse community. With my extensive media experience, I feel that I could be a valuable asset to UMA. While I am familiar with UMA and it’s operations, I cannot say that I am completely knowledgable of all that UMA has to offer, but am eager to learn more and be a part of your exciting group and help continue to make it something that fellow Maldonians can be proud of.
