On March 9, 2019, MATV hosted an Arts & Culture Summit to imagine the next steps for Malden’s art and culture community, also referred to as creative economy players. This page contains video and information about this event. On March 9, 2019, over 100 people met at River’s Edge Medford to imagine the next steps for Malden’s arts and culture community. Led and hosted by MATV, Malden’ Media Center, the program included a welcome, art talk, keynote speech about Watertown’s Mosesian Center for the Arts, performances, and a break out discussion using a tool known as the “Innovator’s Compass.”
Purpose
Purpose of the summit was to gather artists, leaders, group members of arts and culture initiatives in Malden to coordinate vision and future actions to enable more arts activity in Malden.
