Please join us for our first Filmbuilding Malden Advisory Forum Wednesday March 9 at 7. Session 1 (Participant Engagement) will include an interactive exercise + discussion about participant engagement. It will focus on strategizing our recruitment of 30 Malden-based Filmbuilders who will play a starring role in the project. We will also dip into the design of our curriculum which will help determine the direction the Filmbuilders take in creating their stories. Please check Key Questions to understand more about the content of the session. If you have been excited about plugging into the Filmbuilding Malden project then this is your first chance to engage!

Who should attend: Those who are interested and/or have insight into community engagement, project planning and story creation

Key questions: (Questions to be engaged)

• What is the most effective way to recruit our 30 Filmbuilders (Malden-based amateur filmmakers) for this project?
• How can we ensure that Malden’s unique diversity (ethnic, age, income level, etc) is represented in the selection of 30 Filmbuilders
• What themes will be explored through the creation of the six different films?
• How might we encourage the Filmbuilders to explore different aspects and areas of Malden in the creation of their films
