Got Photos and Video? Create a Digital Story

Facilitated by Ose Schwab and Amanda Hurley, this hands-on workshop will help you transform your photos and videos into a digital story using one of many free tools like Instagram Stories & Reels, Canva, Facebook, and more…. No experience necessary. Membership required.
This workshop is ideal for someone who is interested in creating and sharing a digital story and is not afraid to make it happen. This 90-minute session will take place at UMA and will:
- Offer a brief overview of Instagram stories, Instagram reels, Canva, Flickr, Facebook, and Shutterfly in terms of pros/cons
- Walk you through how to decide which tool is best for your needs
- Help you create a digital story with the tool of your choice
What participants will need:
- Ideal but not required: Laptop, iPad, or Tablet (note: if you do not have these, we can accommodate you with a laptop
- Account for one of the following: Instagram, Facebook, Shutterfly, Google photos, or Canva
- Photos or videos
- An idea for a short digital story
