Workshop: Writing from the Inside Out – Memoir Writing

In “Born a Crime”, Trevor Noah shares a series of stories from his childhood and adolescence that helped to form the person he is today.
What are your stories that make you who you are?
In this writing and presentation workshop, participants will choose a memory, experience, or theme from their life to share in written form to be publicly read in a (virtual) presentation. Instructor CD Collins will work with each participant to revise and hone their chosen story.
Participants will meet on February 23, March 2, and March 16 from 7-8:30 PM.
On April 7th, from 7-8:15 PM, workshop participants will present their work virtually at the event, Sharing Stories: Writing from the Inside Out.
Malden Reads is subsidizing this program, so that it is available at no cost to participants.
CD Collins is an author, spoken word artist and gifted instructor who has received rave reviews from her students in previous writing workshops offered through UMA (formerly MATV).
