MATV/UMA finalist in several media categories
Breaking News! MATV/UMA is a finalist for three videos and for Overall Excellence in Combined PEG Access as part of the annual Nor’Easter Awards hosted by Alliance for Community Media Northeast Region. Winners will be announced at the virtual Nor’Easter Awards Ceremony on December 2, 2020. But getting to this status is already cause to celebrate and congratulate those who made the videos and applaud the MATV/UMA the staff, board, and all the interns for ongoing work.

Though MATV/UMA runs many programs and provides various offerings, its role as a provider of local cable channel programming is vital for Malden. Public, Educational, and Governmental programming provides education, information, and opportunity for civic engagement, creative expression, and access to community.
The Overall Excellence awards recognize access organizations for their overall operational activities and programming efforts.
