Stop by the Urban Media Arts (UMA) studio on March 11 any time from 4 to 5:30pm to learn more about Filmbuilding Malden: Our City in Motion, a citywide project intended to enliven the city of Malden through a collaborative filmmaking workshop, film screenings, and public media art events.

We are looking for people who might be interested in participating in this project as filmbuilders. Filmbuilders would work in small groups of diverse community members to co-create a short film exploring the theme “Who is Malden.” No media experience needed— just an interest in Malden and its people. Stipend available. Applications due April 20.

Whether you would like to sign up as filmbuilder or you are just curious to learn more, we welcome you. Meet the innovator of this special collaborative filmmaking process, ask questions, and even enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and some cookies.
