UMA Annual Celebration & Meeting

Join UMA for our 2021 Annual Celebration & Meeting (virtual) on Thursday, October 14th from 7:00 to 8:15PM!
Enjoy an opening slideshow and remarks from staff and Board members. We’ll have a chance to do some small group socializing (via Zoom breakout room!)
Next we’ll premiere “The UMAverse,” a 5-minute video with highlights from the past year featuring people from our UMA community.
At this year’s celebration we will be giving out some special awards – with video clips, Academy Awards style!
City of Malden’s Strategy and Business Development Officer Kevin Duffy will receive the Community Impact Award; The Wonderland Spectacle Co. production team will receive an award for Production of the Year; Neighborhood View’s Saliha Bayrak will receive an award for Excellence in Citizen Journalism; and we’ll honor a group of UMA’s All Star Interns!
The Board will give an update on the status of UMA’s finances and long range plans. You’ll have a chance to meet all our Board members.
And finally, we’ll welcome a new Board member voted in by UMA’s Contributing Members. (Vote here by noon on October 14.)
