Malden’s Urban Media Arts is holding a course on Marketing, Promotion and Publishing instructed by Boston Herald writer Stephanie Schorow— and the deadline is fast approaching!

“In this 4-session course, we will review and practice principles of journalism and basic reporting. Students will improve their writing and reporting skills and see their work published,” course description taken from UMA’s website.

Starting this Tuesday, July 7th, a virtual classroom will be held where students will be able to take classes learning how to market themselves and their writing in a world that is rapidly shifting to an online media platform.

The course is a four week commitment and the dates are as follows;

Tuesday July 21st

Tuesday July 28th

Each class runs from 7:30PM – 8:45PM and the total cost is only $60. By the time you’ve completed the course you could see yourself as a published writer!
